The meaning of life
is that it stops.
                                         Kafka

So here we are . . .

I've never been much for taking a rest, although I'm most likely doing that right now.

I've been in lots of places. My life has been disrupted many times. I've been with all sorts of people, arrayed all over the world.

Which is I why I respectfully declined a memorial service. For one thing, so many of those I wish could  be in the room would have to cross oceans and hemispheres. For another, it would have made for lousy theatre,

So here is a place to be with me. You can read poems. You can listen to music. You can watch a movie or read a play -- and remember (I detest the world celebrate) my limited time on the planet. If you want, you can craft your own do-it-yourself service from the linked material.

Eulogies are welcome provided they are respectful.

If you feel the need to say something to others, a memorial site will be set up on Facebook.

Contacts in Love

Maya Massar, whose dear friendship I have cherished for over 50 years, is the one to contact if you want access to the  Memorial Facebook site.

Diane Marquis, whose dear friendship has provided me with warmth and shelter in Maine. She can also be contacted.
